Please read it as well. There are nurse support groups called caduceus groups in most areas and I encourage you to seek one out through NA or AA or your licensee assistance program. These nurse groups can be invaluable for networking for jobs and especially for NOT feeling like you are the "Freak of the Week" in being a nurse with a history of addiction. The shame of addiction is so extreme that most people hide it very well. You'd be surprised how many people you already know that have a past that includes such things. Take care & please post again.
