Here's the deal, when filling out applications DO NOT put your situation in print, you'll never get past HR. Place somewhere in the narritive portion that you will explain your leaving previous job at the time of the interview. DO not tell HR that you are in a program unless your licence is on probation, if not (such as PA's VRP)only disclose your program situation to your future director, he/she the ONLY one(s) who have to know!
Now go out and sell yourself, beware it is going to take time, just ask Catmom, but you will find something (Catmom may disagree but part of the issue is there just are not that many nursing jobs out there right now).
Apply everywhere you are allowed, clinics, OP dialysis, LTC, home health(if allowed). Remember when interviewing it is not lying if you hold info back(do this only to HR people). GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
