I am just sick of being treated like a criminal when it has been 11 YEARS since I took some pills from work. It will be eleven years on March 17 as a matter of fact. The shame kept me from immediately returning to nursing after my 6 months suspension was up. I didn't go back until 2005-6. Now I am wondering of I should even have bothered. I have been completely clean and sober since December 9, 2004. I was clean almost 2 years when I started the monitoring BULLSHIT with the BON. What gripes me is that no matter what I do, I will be treated like a junkie in withdrawal who will lunge toward the narc box the minute I have a chance. This reminds me that my "random" drug screen number came up the very DAY I was legally allowed to administer controlled substances again. That was June of 2007, by the way. Shit.
