I AM an RN, by the way, with an active license but just haven't found a job yet... I say "yet" because I am trying to keep some kind of hope going. I have about 6 weeks of unemployment left and a little bit of savings. I wish the people in my "real life" could be as supportive as you and others have been on this site. But, as you know, my brothers couldn't care less if I were in the gutter. They believe that if things don't go your way, you have screwed up & deserve to suffer. In my darkest moments, I have to push that kind of belief away. Maybe I will have some good news to post one of these days about having found a job...
