Date Posted: Tue, Nov 09 2010, 15:42:24 Does anyone out there in IPN land have a knowlege base regarding the protocol if one is in need of surgery? I need foot surgery, unfortunately...but the pain is bad enough that I really can't tolerate it any longer. I have a little more than a year left, but this can't wait...I'm already putting off another surgery until I finish, because I know what a pain in the ass this is going to be. We are not normal and wont' be treated normal (is that not a joke)! I've already told the doctor I'm in recovery and in a monitoring program that requires random screens. I asked if the surgery could be done as a local, but he said "it could, but" he "doesn't believe in torture." Isn't that a concept? Anyway, any information you might have would be helpful. Tried to contact my case manager, but of course no returned call. Thanks [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
