I finally applied for unemployment, should have done it long ago, but I was playing by the rules, and I will get $275 per week. Thank God my dh has a great job and we have been able to get by without me working. Am doing the job thing, for the first time in my life. What is depressing is that they never call you back, and with having to do everything on line now, you are usually never sure that they got it. You call and all it seems the you get is voice mail. I do have an interview on tuesday at a nursing home about an hour's drive away. Will see what the pay is, etc., but if offered will take it no matter what.
