Subject: DG says it's because the Lord John books are told entirely from a male point of view, and it didn't make sense to her (or the Recorded Books people) to have Davina do them. DG has also said that Jeff Woodman (narrator of the Lord John books and co-narrator of SCOTTISH PRISONER) sounds very much like the voice she hears in her head for Lord John.
