Subject: William's a little young to be a major. :-) But someone on Compuserve pointed out that the major is a redhead. Swap the redcoat uniform for whatever an American colonel of militia would be wearing, put a bandage on his right hand (because of the recently amputated finger) and it could be Jamie kneeling there, holding the general's hand. Fun to speculate about, anyway!
