    • I have no real knowledge on the subject, I have dealt personally with people who have Autism, my DBro's GF has it, and I know the generals of their situation but I'm by no means and expert, however I agree with ScarlettO, it sounds like he may benefit from the assistance of someone else, preferably male. Maybe if he has a male paraprofessional it would help A) take his mind of off bedroom business and B) re-enforce what behavior is expected of an adult male. First is the boy really mentally a 7-year old, as this development leads me to believe that he thinks these things very much and is developing a plan to fulfill his thoughts. Second, could he be influenced by someone else. I mean that these things about you can be coming from someone else and this boy is used to express these thoughts to you just to see your reaction. Could he also be subjected to adult movies or stories that make him think like this. No real advice, but I'd be really edgy in a similar situation.     • As a special education teacher and former teaching assistant my gut tells you to ask to be reassigned this won't go away it will just worsen - he will probably continue to obssess on you and the situtation as you said it is part of his separation anxiety. Honestly on Monday his special education case manager and the administration should be approaching you with reassignment regardless of how difficutl it is on everyone for the remaining weeks of the school year it is the RIGHT thing to do for you and the student - it is sexual harrassment and he won't stop because he doesn't know enough to stop and with the disability can't learn to stop.   Looks like my father is not sick enough to get any insurance coverage, either respite care or a facility. My mother pays out of pocket for about twelve hours a week for an LPN, which is all she can afford. That way she can continue playing tennis with her good friends and go to the grocery and drugstore after without worries. So, Daddy is sort of healthy but his mind is gone and there is not help for that.
  
  My cousin is looking and looking for loopholes so we might get lucky. I have talked to a couple of nice people who have private homes and can take up to six patients, so we hope that something will work out.

  • Although there are many, many reputable in home care establishments, do bewary. Two in our town were in deplorable condition recently. Like "arrested for it" deplorable. Good ones are easily vetted. And I believe your physician is the key. He can declare "in need of assistance", which could open some doors. prayers for all involved.   Could I please ask you all to pray for my dear boyfriend, today. He has been dealing with growing depression turning into agoraphobia, we think caused by bad health that he is not addressing. He's pretty much not addressing life, these days. He is suppose to go to a therapy appointment today. Please pray that he finds the strength and will to go. He is an awesome man who is letting life swallow him whole and feels so out of control, when he has all the control in the world if he just lets himself. I'm trying to understand, but it's so hard. It's so against my own nature, but I do not have depression. Also, I'm really the only person in the world who knows how bad it's gotten, so I feel responsible for spurring him on. But I can do nothing. Just need prayers, please, for both of us. Thanks!

  • Depression and agoraphobia are very difficult to treat. I know, I have them both. My suggestion is don't try to understand, because you won't be able to. My DH rolls with my symptoms of the day. • I would greatly appreciate healing vibes for a senior student of mine. His hand was caught in a steel roller while he was welding at the voc. center yesterday. He lost the first two fingers of his right hand below the base knuckle (he's right handed) and will have to have a graft for his ring finger. He is in good spirits (happy he'll still be able to play guitar!), but at some point I'm thinking the shock/newness will wear off, the pain will set in, and he'll have some major adjusting to do. He's a fantastic, positive kid, and it broke my heart to hear of his accident. Another of my students was right there (helped to stop the bleeding and then to clean up the horrible mess), and I'm sure he needs some warm thoughts, too. The latter was in my class today and said he was doing well, but he wasn't as animated as he usually is. I think he's dealing as best he can, but we're keeping an eye on him as well.   I want to thank Everyone for all the prayers, energy, and good thoughts that poured out of Lallybroch to me over the past few weeks. I am healing well and feeling better each day. It will be a long road back to "normal" (whatever that is...) but my feet as firmly planted on the path and each day I get stronger and stronger. I felt the Love VERY CLEARLY and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it made a HUGE difference in my outcome.
  This has been a hard year for me.... Many pitfalls along the way. I am planning on a smoother journey for the rest of the year. I so very much appreciative of the support everyone has given me and the cards of encouragement. Blessings to All.

• So happy and blessed I can't contain myself. Since my son and his lady are private, I feel like I need to be discreet. But I have to share with my LOL buds. We found out Monday that they are having twins. David and Di revealed their new pregancy at Christmas. Monday was the day of their first ultrasound. And lo and behold they discovered twins. The heart beat readings hadn't revealed anything before then. They are 20 weeks along and each weigh about 13 oz. - a boy and a girl. Funny thing, David told me a couple of days earlier that Di was REALLY pregnant. And Diana was really surprised how quickly she was showing. It's a blessing for our family. • UPDATE on our friend. Good news everybody! -- Wilhelmiina, 13:14:41 03/16/13 Sat
  I talked to her mom tonight. Our dear friend no longer needs the respirator and gets just extra oxygen. She still needs more tests since they can't get the blood pressure down but has been able to have a look at a paper and managed to brush her teeth herself!! This is very, very good news IMO. She will see specialists for speech and movement and words are still difficult to find.
  
  I feel very vulnerable posting about something so very personal of someone else, but I am sure all will treat this information with respect and also I know you have been anxious to hear about her. I know I have, and I could cry tears of joy right now.
  
  My heart swells of happiness with these good news and I am grateful of this net of love that spreads across the world. Big hugs to you all!

  A few of us wondered when hadn't seen Chirre post inFB for a few days & then Marcie was able to get her brother. Here is his message
  
  Oh friends, this is the message I got from her brother Anders this am.
  
  Hi Marcie!
  NIce to hear from you.
  Last friday Charlotta had a brain haemorrhage and is now in hospital. She had a surgery right away when she got to the hospital and she is still anesthetized. Right now I don't have that much information to tell, but according to the hospital it seems that the surgery went well. She can move hands and feet and she is responding when nurses ask her questions. They are keeping her in a respirator, so she has not yet been able to talk. I hope they will take away the respirator tomorrow. After that we will know more about her condition.
  There are a lot of words in this message I have never heard before, so I had to look them up in a dictionary. I hope the translations are correct
  Feel free to contact me if you want more information, and I will also try to keep you informed how things are proceeding here. I'm calling the hospital 2-3 times per day and I will visit her tomorrow, so I hope to have more news after the visit.
  
  I messaged him back to please keep us updated and to tell her we love her and want her to get well soon.

  The family has worked out that having a carer into my parents' home to look after my father with severe dementia will work out the best for now and will be covered by insurance.

  Having trouble keeping my positive attitude lately. They re-organized management and teams at work, and my manager basically sent me to no man's land to a new manager (who I don't dislike, but they kind of sent him to the same place to forget about). It basically ends any chance I have of getting the exposure I need to succeed.
  
  Then I had every hope this year of getting above average rating; since we transitioned to the new company I've been managing 2 teams and assisting with the off-shoring of one. I got a 3, meets requirements. That's great, but I thought I went above and beyond and showed evidence. Rather disappointed after being able to put forth 2 candidates for new upwardly mobile positions and getting them ratings of 1 (the best). You'd think it would have rubbed off on me, but no.
  
  My former manager showed me that it's officially dog eat dog and I am being sent away. It hurt and a lot.
  
  Then my coworker and good friend gave me the news I didn't want to hear, her daughter who had been on full bed rest, gave birth to a son, 20 weeks gestation. He survived 2 hours. I almost broke down at work. I am devastated for them and don't know how to help.
  
  I just need a hug. And if you would, please send prayers for Peggy and family. Thanks all.

Research the science of bottle washing, collect a set of pro bottle washer playing cards, get some signed (they cost a little more, but worth it). Go all out, set the standard. They will notice. A well washed bottle is not easily overlooked. Soon they will have you training the new bottlewashers, Maybe put you in the bottle pollishing department to try improving them. And so on. She is trying to raise money to bring her son back to our county (across the state) for his burial.   Some of you may recall my posting about my calico, Emma, who was diagnosed with pneumonia a week ago. After spending 4 days at the specialty vet, I was able to bring her home for what I hoped was recovery. On Friday, I thought that was coming as it was the first time in days that she'd come to say good morning, and even eat some food. Unfortunately, it didn't stay like that, and I found that she had left me and her 'sister' Gabbi some time during the night. I wish I could have done more, but I guess it was just her time. She will be missed. I did post a brief note on FB. Thank you all for your kind wishes on her recovery, and I know that you will understand how I feel this morning.
