Subject: My Grandmother has passed on

Ladies, thank you for your thoughts and prayers. At about 1115 this morning my grandmother passed away. Ironically, earlier in the week she actually appeared to be recovering. She got out of bed and sat in a chair and started eating. Even her doc said "she's a tough old lady"....maybe she was just showing us her last bit of strength. She went peacefully with some of her children around her. I am sad but not torn. It was her time. She so dearly missed her husband (my grandpa). I wish we had been closer since she was around so long but we couldn't communicate too well...she spoke nothing but spanish with very little english and I spoke nothing but english with little spanish. My parents would translate but not enough for us to be able to bond with one another. I pray that she is received into God's loving grace and that my grandpa is there to see her. May she rest in peace. I do ask for a few prayers for me...for some reason this is hitting me a bit harder than expected just typing this. So just pray for my family and me. Thank you.
