Subject: Uggh, we had half of our front yard dug up last year to put in a turn-off and replace the line from the city's water to our house water that had burst in our basement, thankfully quickly found and damaging little - but the repairs were NOT cheap. You have my sympathies. Don't stay to watch - go out for a cup of coffee (or several). It's less stressful that way....:-P

Ok - didn't have to dig up the other half the yard, but we are gonna have a muddy driveway for awhile and will need to reseed some of the lawn. Getting water and sewer pipes replaced from the corner of the house partway to the city stuff, and the plumber guys are contacting the city to see if they(the city) wants to replace the meter while they(the plumber guys) have it dug up and getting a 'clean-out' put in so we don't have to do any of this again - hopefully.

and yes Scarlett, not cheap. I do hope that the trip to U of M went OK. I've always thought it was sorta funny, You and Colly both live in my neck of the woods so to speak, i'm up 131 in Cadillac. Big huge wide Internet and meet people from right next door (figuratively). Anyway, if either of you want to come visit the North Woods let me know, we even got a place in the UP.
