Subject: Well, I know that most Canadian Banks will accept US funds easily - and that isn't the same with US banks and Canadian funds. Yes, there might be a hold put on the funds until it clears, but still, shouldn't be a big problem. Although the international money order option from the post office is also a good choice. Most of us Canadians have US dollar accounts set up in our Canadian banks - if we live anywhere close to the border.
