Subject: Prayers of protection for your brothers are winging. The city I live in has only 1 cop for every 400 people. The cities directly bordering it have a ratio of 1 cop for every three people. Guess where most of the violent criminals in the area live. I'm an embattled public servant doing the job with zero support and inadequate resources, but it's extremely unlikely that I'll die on the job, or possibly kill someone while I'm on the job (I won't say it isn't tempting, sometimes). My heart always goes out to every police officer who dies on the job, ditto fire fighters.
