I had an idea for something fun and free for you to do with your girls that might make you all feel a little bit better:

I know they're little, so just be ready to be silly and anything but self-concious. Have you ever heard of the Party Rock Anthem? (I use this, but you can use anything from the Ring Around the Rosie to Swan Lake)

Grab your girls, teach them something of the dance any dance, plan a little performance, make it a goofy, huge, silly deal with costumes and makeup, give your DH a call to warn him that the girls have been working on something special for him all day, and let them put on this great thing when he gets home. You get to spend some time where you might be more relaxed with your girls, (because even if it looks nothing like what you were aiming for, it's still perfect)you got some exercise, and you got to bond with the family in a new, less-stressful way. Maybe next time the girls will do it on their own and want to do it for you, giving you an hours break or so while they plot. :)
