Probably ageing....a bit early, but I wouldn't be concerned at this point. It is not so much, "Where are the keys?", but "What are these for?" that should be the red flag. All of us will sometimes reach for a word or name we haven't used in a long time. What are you doing for some extra mental gymnastics? It's.really.important. Ok, Ok, so no one has free time, but are you trying to learn something new (mental skill or physical skill....it doesn't matter....it is the process that counts) or doing some sort of puzzle (like sudoku or a crossword) that makes you think a bit each day? Are you also physically active....no, no, no...it's not necessary to start running marathons, but doing a power walk, a stretch class, a yoga dvd, something? I'm a generation ahead of you and started having to reach for the occaisonal word or name about 10 years ago and rely more heavily on calendars and list-making than I did decades ago. -- The Kirk
