Lost Mama in 2006 after an 8 year battle with Alzheimers, Daddy met and began an affair with his new wife while Mama was still in the nursing home, they married on Christmas Eve after Mama died in March of that year. he has hardened his heart to me (I am the younger daughter, the "problem child", etc ... needy as a teen and young adult, stable, had a child. lost my husband at 34, therefore needy AGAIN) and I think the wife encourages him to just "tune me out". She has informed me I am not welcome to move within 100 miles of their zipcode, as Daddy "is a different person" when I am around. I am losing him when I need him the most - not "needy" need him, but need to visit with my son, who is 5, and need to feel comfortable about the upcoming end of his life, and I don't, because of her.
