Subject: ((((((((( Sorcha ))))))))) I think this is very common. I'm forever going to a room going "why did I come in here again?" then I go back and it twigs! *G* In 1912 what did people have to think about - well, I have to get up at 5 when the rooster crows and feed the cows and chickens and pigs - then I have to have breakfast - then we have to work in the back 40 - come in for lunch - go back to the back 40 - have dinner - sing a few songs - play cards - go to bed - repeat! We have BAZILLIONS of things to think about these days. If we can remember more than the farmers did, I think we're ahead of the game. :D
In reply to: Sorcha 's message, "Thanks guys, that helps. I will completely forget something that DH & I talked about 2 days ago, but I remember other things from the same day just fine. I've always been bad at names but good with faces. I'll go upstairs, into the garage or the next room and forget why I'm there. Not every time, but often enough. I keep a paper planner (for which I am teased by my techno savvy friends & colleagues but I don't care) and I play Scrabble against my Ipad daily, as well as Words With Friends, I also read a lot. I'm just noticing it more and I'm a little concerned. It's not my thyroid, I have blood drawn every 3 months and am on the right dose. I do exercise, whether it's walking and playing with the dogs, doing house/yard work, yoga or bellydance I'm pretty active. I suppose it is just an age/perimenopause thing. Thanks for the responses." on 07:53:24 08/02/12 Thu
