Subject: I completely understand what you mean--I can't seem to let them go either. Once I got hooked on Outlander, I promptly ordered the whole series from Amazon because the hold list at the library was so long. I was able to borrow all the books on CD's and listen to them in the car for my second read-through. I have the nagging suspicion these books will be on at least an annual re-read schedule for me.

  • Welcome to Lallybroch, L.Patricia! You are right, you are not alone, and you have found the perfect place to share the love of all things Outlandish. I know what you mean about stocking the freezer ahead of time, too. In my house, my mantra becomes "Fend for Yourself" *G*. Knew there was an immediate benefit for teaching my DS how to cook, clean, and do laundry. Now, if he'd only DO it... (NT) -- MiladyM, 06:39:40 08/09/09 Sun
