Subject: My daughter made me do it!

I discovered this series on the recommend of my elder daughter in April. She sent me home with Outlander, and my life has changed forever! I was immediately combing thrift and used bookstores for the rest of the books, and ended up buying the large trade paperbacks and the Outlandish Companion on Amazon. I'm now partway though The Fiery Cross, and I must admit I've never felt teary-eyed/emotional over book characters before I met Claire, Jamie, Bree, and Roger. I've sent on the recommendation to my younger daughter and an online friend who are both now hooked on the series. I just love discovering authors after they have a good number of books in print, and I can just drown myself in them, instead of waiting impatiently for the next one to be published. For An Echo in the Bone to be so close on the heels of the ones I'm reading is a true blessing. Long live DG's imagination!
