I've always loved history anyway but you know how it is when you live in a place, you never seem to get round to doing that stuff. It's a long time since I strolled about up there but I know there are loads of 18th and pre 18th century buildings up there so it won't be hard to imagine. I may have to drag a friend round all the plaques and walks etc sometime very soon. This place is so full of history I'll have to work hard to keep my mind in the 18th century hehe!!

Ok I'm going to go away and stop being a history geek now and read some more Voyager - am half way through and loving it. Methinkg Edinburgh may be getting a visit from me too :p
