Subject: Welcome to Lallybroch Penna Dreamer!!! Your story sounds very familiar to many 'round here. I felt so empty when I finished ABOSAA. I actually cried :o) My DH thought I was absolutely nuts. I've read the Lord John Books and they are good, but IMHO don't really do it for me like Jamie and Claire. I like Lord John's character, however, I never really got into them. I say give them a try if you like Lord John. Hope to see you posting on the other boards. Happy reading!

  • Welcome Penna Dreamer! I agree with the other ladies that listening to the unabridged books on CD is a great next step. I used a portable CD player so that I could go walking or clean the house while I listed. They are great and it gives you a whole new appreciation for the books.
