Subject: Welcome Penna Dreamer! I agree with the other ladies that listening to the unabridged books on CD is a great next step. I used a portable CD player so that I could go walking or clean the house while I listed. They are great and it gives you a whole new appreciation for the books. Porter is great in doing all the voices! Welcome! Joining this LOL hosed lot will help you pass the time until Sept and add joy to your life!

  • Welcome to Lallybroch, Penna Dreamer! The audiobooks are wonderful - see if your library has them. I've read two of the Lord John Books and enjoyed them, but then again I really like Lord John. Or, you could just go back to the beginning and do a full re-read. You'd be surprised at how much you missed the first time! Glad you found us, and hope to see you around the boards!
