Subject: New to the Ladies of Lallybroch

I am currently in my fifth (yes fifth) re-read of the entire series, anxiously awaiting the next book. I have been devouring this series for 15 years. I came across Jamie and Claire quite by fate. I was caring for a new baby: you know, nursing, feeding, diapering, over and over. The only thing I had the energy to do was read. So I went to my local library and picked the biggest volume I could find off the shelf. Little did I know that I would be reading this book when I was waiting on that baby to get her driver's permit (learner's anyway). My family knows about Jaime; my husband swears he is going to buy a kilt. My kids (I added another in between Voyager and Drums of Autumn) think that it is funny that Mom sometimes retreats into another world. My oldest is asking to read the series (haven't decided if 15 is quite old enough to appreciate it). Whatever else, my kids have learned a love of reading from me. Anyway, glad to find you guys and I can't wait to start discussing parts of my "other world".
