Subject: How have I lived without these books???

Hi, I've been lurking here for about a month now since reading The Fiery Cross, which sat on my bookshelf for nearly a year, until desperation led me to read it. I of course was madly in love by page 20, & bought the rest of the books. I'm now reading them in proper order! I'm a Canadian (Laughing at all the hoser jokes!) mama of 3. I am a Catholic with a strong Irish & Scots Highland background, so these books have touched such a strong nerve for me. It is amazing & upsetting to read fictionalized accounts of events that affected so many of my ancestors in ways I had only vaguely understood until now.
They are amazing books, but you all knew that! I look forward to chatting with you!
