HELLO LOL,
I am new here as well. I have been lurking for some time reading the posts but have not had a chance to jump in. I am currently on maternity leave with a 2yr. old and a 1mo. old so I am just a wee bit busy. I found Jamie and Claire Fraser during my last pregnancy and fell in LOVE with them, their story and their loved ones. In fact I think I am a little overly obsessed about them...least my DH thinks so. I just can't get enough of them. I have so many questions to post on the book board. I have yet to order the audios and the outlandish companion....I was very distraught to find out the next book is not out until 2009 since I have been a bit spoiled....I was able to read book after book for 6 books straight. I am having withdrawls so decided to reread them again and am on ABOSAA. However without a doubt Outlander (first book) is my absolute favorite of all time. In fact DG has ruined all other books in my eyes. I mean not just the story but her writing is amazing....I have yet to find anything that compares. Well LOL, new and old, it was great introducing myself I will do everything I can to post and hope to meet some fun and great Jamie and Claire enthusiasts. Have a great day!

• Hi! Don't despair, you will enjoy other books again, I promise, although it may not seem like it. Yes, t hese books have raised the standard and I highly doubt there will be another series like them, but...there are still wonderful stories. Outlander was the first book I ever reread.
