Subject: New to the board

Hi everyone,
My name's Amber (26, Saskatchewan, Canada)

I discovered the books about a year and a half ago, when my roommate, the librarian, suggested I should read "Outlander." The suggestion was made after I was complaining about the lack of plot in many historical romance novels. (Not that I consider "Outlander" or the other Books "romance")

I read it in 2 nights and just loved it, and couldn't wait to get the next one. The next day I immediately rushed off to the store to buy it and DiA. I was originally interlibrary loaning them, but that was taking too long!

I'm so glad I discovered the Books and this community where others are just as obsessed (or more) then I am. I recently gave my sister a copy of "Outlander" and am hoping she'll get into the Books as well.
