Subject: I read this book a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. It had good characters, a good storyline and an unusual setting. There is a sequel that has just been released that I would really like to get hold of as well.

  • I just read it in April. I enjoyed a lot, but it didn't have DG's depth or character development. I learned a lot about China's history & rebellion - names I'd heard before but didn't really know who was fighting for what, etc. Glad to have the knowledge now & it helped me help DD prepare for an AP World History test at the same time :).
