• After watching the series on HBO, I picked up the books and have been reading non-stop. I am currently a third of the way through the latest book, A Dance With Dragons. I don't usually read this type of "fantasy" and have to admit that although I enjoy the characterizations, I don't enjoy all the murders and violence. • I am just beginning book 5, A Dance with Dragons, I am so happy to see my favorite characters again. Book 4 was a little hard to get into but then I couldn't put it down. I love the characters and the fantasy of these books. It is not my usual kind of read but something about his writing has captured my attention with this series.
