Subject: I'm reading A FINE BALANCE by Rohinton Mistry. It takes place in India around 1975-77. I was saying I liked The Kite Runner and my friend told me about A Fine Balance. It's been engrossing and I'm only in about 100 or 150 pages. I keep reading although it is sort of sad, like The Kite Runner. Different, but along a similar vein. Quite enjoyable, and a look into how things can be for other people who don't have it so great - like we do here in North America.
