Subject: I read this many years ago and I thought it was wonderful if haunting and sad. It does a pretty good job of detaing the horrors of war.

  • We had to read this book in high school. It's very touching. The movie version starring John Boy from The Waltons is great. It really brought home how young those soldiers were. They looked just like the kids I was in class with. (NT) -- RisaB, 09:32:50 06/18/09 Thu
