Subject: Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother

Wow, what an interesting and controversial book. It was fascinating to read. While I think the author has a few issues and is over the top abusive, I couldn't argue with alot of the philosophies of western vs. eastern child raising techniques that she proposes. I had to agree with alot of what she says and a few things hit close to home as a "western" parent myself. I also have to give it to her for being so honest about her home life, I'm sure that wasn't an easy thing to reveal.
