Subject: Into the Free by Julie Cantrell

I believe this is a new author and this book was published Feb 1 2012. Wow!! I couldn't put this book down. It is an emotional ride right from the first page, of a poor little 9 yr old girl growing up in the worst of family conditions. Starts off in the depression times in the Mississippi and continues until Millie is 17 years old. How she strives to survive and overcome her many challenges. From what I have seen other people mention on reviews, it looks like there might be a sequel. I hope so, because I am so anxious to see what happens to Millie next.
