I have to say this book, and even the one before, left me flat. OK, it was somewhat entertaining, but I like more interaction...and yeah sex between the characters. This was very violent and I don't think the story built up the need for that violence enough. I'm not too thrilled with Sookie and Eric. I liked it better when there was tension between Eric and Bill over her. I even liked Alcide or Quinn. I'm sure I'll read the next installment, but won't be as excited as I will be for the next Black Dagger Brotherhood or Sherrilyn Kenyon story.

    - Honestly, I don't see Sookie and Sam, not just from this last book but from the bulk of them. They have seen too much of each other's lives, I think, to be lovers. I see them as greatest of friends, but not each other's HEA.
