Subject: LOL on the Highlanders Lisa - I am in the middle of Clash of Kings and, while I'm not loving it as much as Game of Thrones, certainly worth the read >>>
In reply to: LisaW 's message, "I am loving this series, I just finished A Feast for Crows, I can't wait until July. Actually the very first scene in the book does involve the White Walkers who are dead creatures. When you see the map of the lands it obviously is very similar to Great Britain, I see the Wall being the seperation from what is Scotland. Interseting that the Wildlings live up there, hmmmm barbaric Highlanders maybe?" on 09:04:05 05/21/11 Sat

I am intriqued by the way Martin has gradually imposed the supernatural element on a very 'real' world, beginning with simple suggestions of nothing more than regular 'boogie man' stories we tell our own children, then the 2 men who came back to life (I can't recollect what they were called). I am looking forward to the development of the dragons, although I was a wee bit disapointed by the way Dany went through the fire, I think I would have rather she just put the eggs in as an offering. And I hate that Drogo died, I loved him.
