Yeah, I did think it was totally stupid that it was Mac that came up with the solution, but I still didn't think the boy would actually die. I thought if there was going to be a solution it might include not having to kill the boy.

Still, overall, I am glad I read it. I would read more of her books in a heartbeat.

Agreed about the reading more. Moning is on my list of 'definite reads'. And I'll almost certainly re-read the whole series in a few months, and probably like Shadowfever more when I do. I sort of stuck SF into the middle of Anita Blake, the series I'm reading now, and I'll admit when I do that I try to project the feeling of the 'main' series onto the 'interruption'.
