Subject: Niesold, it is not really an alternate ending. However, the books has such nice little snippets and stories among the recipes, that's it's just a nice way to end the series. Some of the stories are happy, some are wistful. It is worth it to get it, plus the Banana Bread recipe is great (who knew that adding a teasp. of water would make such a difference!) Inside...spoilers

It gives an alternate ending. I should just ask around LOL or the Net what the alt ending is?!! I could save a few bucks if someone emails me it!! In all I loved all the books. I am now really glad a got a signed Paullina bookmark." on 11:29:12 02/09/11 Wed

Why didn't you like the ending? Did it just stop too abruptly for you? It made me very sad, to see them so old, but it came full circle. He seeing her across the street eating ice cream and humming, and bus in his way...her looking up at him. I'm glad they didn't die in the book. But, like I said...it just made me sad them being old. The "alternate ending" in Tatiana's Table is just a couple of pages and not really an alternate. If you didnt' like the one in TSG...you won't be anymore satisfied with the one in TT.
