• Quick note to add: She did not write a sequel to this book. I sure wish she followed her instinct to do so, but was "talked" out of it. That makes me sad. Even sadder is she died last year, age 60. I now recall mention of her passing on the Books Board a long while ago, but it never "clicked" to me who she was. I found this info out from her website. • She wrote a wonderful book with a sequel. Kilgannon is followed by The Wild Rose of Kilgannon. Liked them both but was hoping for a third book on that and I seem to remember there was a plan for this. I've read On a Highland Shore.   • I remember when she died. Sadly, a lot of her fans never got the word. There was a woman at a bookstall at the Fergus Highland Games who had all her books and said she was waiting for the next sequel to the Kilgannon series.   • Oh no! I didn't know she died and I was also hoping for that 3rd Kilgannon book. I think you'll like them Niseold - they are more detailed than On A Highland Shore.
