Subject: OK, yesterday, I was #9 but today I got a notice that my book is ready for me to pick up.. My library must have many copies of this - will be starting it tonight : ).

  • I'd like to put in a plug for the author of this review - Megan Turner. Queen of Attolia is one of my all time favorite YA books. It has plot twists and turns that I never saw coming - almost better on reread when you appreciate how cleverly she's put in hints. The Thief is her first novel, but a bit younger in feel than Queen. Thief reads like an adventure story, Queen has this whole other level of bittersweet loss and longing and palace intrigue.
