Subject: OMG, I love this series and I am so torn about the upcoming tv version - what if they ruin it??? Then again, he is so enthusiastic about it, and all the castings, on his site, I'm willing to be won over. As Valarie said, you will be screaming at the books, and crying more than once as you read them, but what a series it is.

  • Absolutely loved theses books. Some of the best I've ever read. Can hardly wait for the next one to come out. I highly recommend them. (NT) -- Lynda J, 17:42:26 11/09/10 Tue

  • As for the the next one - I had already finished the first when I realized the series wasn't done, so I was hooked and too late to turn back! I'm still on #3, and I just repeat the 'few happy endings' mantra (thanks Valerie), so I'm prepared. His world is so well visualized,I half expect Arya to walk out of the pages. Its like the experience I had a zillion years ago when I read Dune and found myself conserving water, thinking I was living on the desert planet! (NT) -- HollyC, 05:47:51 11/10/10 Wed
