Yeah, I've read that and most of Philipa Gregory.(I know that's misspelled). Have you read the Wideacre ones? I read the 3rd years ago and the first a few months ago, I have no desire for the 2nd, probably because I know how they'll end, but maybe in the spring I'll see if the library has it anyway. I get frustrated with the 'true' ones (like the Henry XIII) though because I <I>know</I> how they are going to end but I really do want them to end differently. PG has a great skill of making us sympathize with whichever character is speaking at the time, my loyalites change several times through a book. I can only read 1 or 2 PG books at a time, kind of like a rich desert. -- LOL Reading Recommendation Board

Wow Jayn, did you really enjoy Wideacre? I wanted to throw it across the room when I finished it!!! I actually threw it away when I was done instead of passing it on to someone.
