Subject: "Lucia, Lucia" by Adriana Trigiani

This was my snow bound, power went out, may as well get to my TBR book yesterday. I've not read Adriana Trigiani, tho I've been recommended her "Big Stone Gap" trilogy. So know I think I may have to add this author to my list.

I loved hearing about Lucia, growing up as the only daughter to Italian grocer family in Greenwich Village in the the 1950's, along with her 4 brothers. So enjoyed the characters as she told her story of working in the custom seamstress department at B. Altman, wanting to be a career gal and dating. The story opens up in modern time and told thru flashback.
