Subject: SKP is one of my faves I love her work. I love well told history.

I know I can trust her to retell true historical events in a fictional and entertaining way.However, I am a history major so I am never happier than when I'm reading anything about history.I don't know of anyone who writes a battle scene better than SKP. Bearing in mind she writes about the medieval period it's difficult not to write about battles. They were always fighting each other! Each to their own though. I know there are lots of books I wouldn't normally have chosen to read, but read them on the recommendation of fellow Hosers. Some I didn't like and put down, but some I totally loved and have become firm favourites. If I didn't at least try them I'd never have found out.
