Subject: Can't remember this title! Help!

This is a very random question, but I need the help of the literary community. I love the Outlander series, but this is unrelated. I can't remember the title of a book I read years ago, and it's driving me bat s**t crazy.
Here's what I remember, if this is familiar to anyone, please speak up!

The story is about a young girl who unknowingly falls in love with and marries her uncle, after a life of traumatic circumstances. They have a daughter (possibly called Cat, although that may be the name of the main character, I can't recall specifically, but I think it's the daughter)
-There is a character named Thad, and he makes movies, one especially named Ellis that stars the main character.
-The main character's mother is English but they live in the south, something about an "English Garden."
-The uncle has a brother somehow involved in the story, there is a scene wherein the uncle and his brother and other friends pay for entertainment from a brothel.

This is about what I can remember. Any help would be great!
