Subject: I forgot about Helen of Troy. I have it too and started reading it but got into something else. I bought it because of the author but it is really out of the era that I like to read about, I may pick it back up if I run out of things to read before DGs new book come out!
In reply to: pamelalass 's message, "Wow, these are heavy books to carry on an airplane! I liked both the Mary Magdalene and Cleopatra ones very much. Helen of Troy has been in my TBR pile for a loooong time, but you have inspired me to move it to the top. Of course there are books that have been languishing there for years, and currently I am on a romance binge, keeping company with the likes of Lynn Kurland, Karen Ranney, and Karen Marie Moning -- much lighter fare (figuratively as well as literally!) than Ms. George!" on 15:27:27 02/19/08 Tue
