That's the best way to see it. My expectations weren't as high after M&M's review, so I wasn't shocked. However, I still held out hope that maybe it was just our different taste in movie, but it didn't turn out to be the case. I took my almost 20 year old daughter last Sunday. We both liked it, she hadn't read the book, I had. She didn't see any glaring holes in the story..I did. Of course they can't do the whole book in the movie but I felt some of the transitions could have been smoother. Katie says I am a nit picker. So go and enjoy it!
