• I'm there with you! When I read The Bronze Horseman I stayed up all night to finish it, called in sick to work so I could sleep a while and then went to the bookstore and bought the second book. • I also read TBH on a long flight and then reread it in CA and on the flight home. I loved T and A and my neighbor is giving me TSG tomorrow soI know what I'm doing this weekend! This was a great recommendation and I think I will try the SKP trilogy posted below next. • I read these books a few years ago, during a very cold winter. I felt guilty wrapped up in a blanket, drinking my hot tea, while Tatiana et al were frozen and starving! • I am nearing the end of TBH and am deliberately reading slowly b/c I don't have T & A yet. Went to a used bookstore today looking for it, and to the library yesterday...guess I'll have to break down and buy it like I did TBH. I love the story, although it is definitely hard to read some of the details about the hardships in Leningrad. I never would have imagined enjoying this type of story but the writing is so absorbing and the story itself just takes over your life.
