Subject: "Gwynedd" is pronounced 'Gwyneth' nowdays, and is a female's name in the U.S., rather than a male's. Is Gwynedd still spelled this way in present-day Wales, and is it mainly a man's name? I wonder how this switch in genders happened, or is it one of those names that, like 'Blake' or 'Ashley' has become gender neutral?
