Subject: Here Be Dragons by Sharon Kay Penman - Part 2 The Road Trip :-)

I left a thank you below on the Welsh pronunciation thread, but didn't want it to get lost way down there. Albion, Gwen, Mari, and others I may have missed - I so appreciate your suggestions of places to see in and near to beautiful Wales. Websites, history tidbits, you guys are the best!!! And if any Penman fans have found themselves captivated by this 13th C time period, and are looking for further detailed history, Marc Morris has a very readable biography "A Great and Terrible King: Edward I And The Forging Of Britain". Even though Edward is his subject, you kind of get the feeling the author was sad that Llywelyn was defeated! PS: If I'm ever lucky enough to get to Wales, I am not even going to try to pronounce the names! :-)
