Subject: I read Tully by her and stopped after about 100 pages. It is definitely the most depressing book I've ever read, but, then again, I wasn't a fan of TBH, either. I only read it b/c many of you here recommended it as 2nd only to the Outlander series. To me, it was suffering, then passion (polite word for sex), then more suffering. I have no desire to read anything else by her.
In reply to: jayn 's message, "I am so eagerly awaiting Tatiana & Alexander but I thought I might as well read some other Paullina Simons meantime. I just a few minutes ago finished 'A Song In The Daylight'. Has anyone else read it? I'm really glad I didn't buy it on anyone's recommendation - I have never read a more depressing book. Don't get me wrong, it was well written, believable plot, good characters all that stuff but so incredibly depressing, especially the end. TBH was depressing in bits but also hopeful and very romantic - I really hope T&A is more like TBH than ASINTD.." on 18:45:24 05/12/10 Wed
