Subject: Jayn, I hope you reconsider. The next two books in the series are awesome, especially if you like Welsh and English history. The story continues with Lewellyn's grandson (also Lewellyn) and also the story of Simon deMontfort. Have your tissues handy. By Maude, do you mean Maude deBroase (sp)? I would sincerely doubt if that theory about her and John is correct from all that I've read about that family.
In reply to: jayn 's message, "Just finished Here Be Dragons, liked it a lot but not sure if I'll read the next two - I liked Joanna and Lewellyn's story. A long time ago I read a book, no idea of the name or author, but it was the story of Maude. It portrayed Maude as a good woman, but outspoken and frustrated at her lack of rights, This book purported that John wanted her in his bed (love or lust we were never sure, he claimed love) but Maude loved her husband and refused and that was the real reason why John did what he did to her." on 19:08:44 07/07/10 Wed
